Note for use[edit]

Where adding "film" as an instance Property:p31, contributors should also consider the subsidiary qualifier "Date of publication" Property:P577 and adding the year or date of release if known.  — billinghurst sDrewth 22:13, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cinema or film[edit]

There is confusion between cinematography, which is an art, and a film (movie). I think that this page should be movies and that Q590870 should be about cinematography as an art. --PAC2 (talk) 13:54, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Revision @Xezbeth What did it break? Lectrician1 (talk) 01:05, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For one, every single film item threw up an error as film (Q11424) was no longer a subclass of audiovisual work (Q2431196). —Xezbeth (talk) 05:11, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Film stock?[edit]

The phrase "stored on film stock" in the English-language Description is an anachronism that should be removed. Danorton (talk) 14:55, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
