Angle: The geometric shape and its measure[edit]

There are two different concepts, 1) the geometric shape formed by two crossing lines, called angle (de: Winkel), and 2) the (physical) quantity that quantifies how pointed the angle is, often simply called (plane) angle and more completely angular measure or angular distance (de: Winkelweite). There are two items, one for each concept:

  1. geometric shape: angle (Q11352)
  2. (physical) quantity: angular measure (Q1357788)

I don't like angular measure (Q1357788) as a measure of angle. It looks like linear quantity instead. Why not angular diameter (Q718647)? --Infovarius (talk) 18:14, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The angular diameter (Q718647) seems to be a special kind of angle (angular measure), namely, the angle under which an object appears when viewed from a certain distance. Toni 001 (talk) 06:21, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
