P31 = U-Bahn Berlin station[edit]

The text you have submitted is 2,048.645 kilobytes long, which is longer than the maximum of 2,048 kilobytes. It cannot be published." - daher hier.)

MB-one (talk) 20:28, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@MB-one: Danke, schaue ich mir an. Denkst Du partOf kann weg? BerlinBerlinBerlinBerlin (talk) 20:38, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@MB-one: Erledigt. BerlinBerlinBerlinBerlin (talk) 09:03, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your edits[edit]

Hi, your removing P361 : U-Bahn Berlin(Q68646) are very disruptive, please undo. Thanks. Bouzinac💬✒️💛 08:59, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

user:Bouzinac, please refrain from personal attacks by calling my contributions "are very disruptive" and make a constructive contribution. BerlinBerlinBerlinBerlin (talk) 09:03, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't mean to insult you but your edits are disruptive because they break a model, see Map of Berlin U-Bahn (query) and they remove something that is true (a station in Berlin subway is part of Berlin subway). The general model for subway stations are "P31 : subway station" (or rarely "station of That City subway") + P361 : That City subway, see for instance Châtelet (Q601484) Bouzinac💬✒️💛 09:09, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
user:Bouzinac, ok thank you! Let's see what can be done. The information is still there, since P31=

Station der U-Bahn Berlin(Q110977120) contains the information, that a station belongs to U-Bahn Berlin. 1) Do you have a map example of a map that still works, so I can have a look what it displays? 2) Can you create a query that uses Q110977120? BerlinBerlinBerlinBerlin (talk) 09:15, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just look at Map of Paris Métro (query). As 98% of subways on Earth are on the model P31:"subway station" + P361:"ThatCity subway", please reput P361 and the model will function well, even with Berlin U-Bahn station (Q110977120). Bouzinac💬✒️💛 09:18, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I now managed to create a map, the query is shorter and faster: [1] BerlinBerlinBerlinBerlin (talk) 09:39, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes but no. Bouzinac💬✒️💛 09:52, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

User:Bouzinac You wrote: "As 98% of subways on Earth are on the model P31:"subway station" + P361:"ThatCity subway"" - why is that so? Maybe some people push that model into the data, like with this edit on the Chuncheon Station in Seoul? BerlinBerlinBerlinBerlin (talk) 12:05, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's like that way because it's easy to query P31:"subway station" + P361:"that city subway" [or P137:that operator]. It is generally better to model the simplest way possible, otherwise one would create P31:"subway station in this country close to that river under that deepth having landing door, etc". I have no pb with "subway station in that city" (thanks to the wdt:P31/wdt:P279* in SPARQL) but with P361 which is needed in the general model. As far I know and been working one year on, there is still mess in Séoul and New York subway network, which are peculiar (irregular services, not lines), you are welcome to help clean them. Some stations are marked as part of S-Bahn[edit]

They are marked part of station XY and that station is P31 instance of S-Bahn station. But I don't think a U or S station is part of another. It can only be part of a combined S-U station. BerlinBerlinBerlinBerlin (talk) 09:18, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
