The sources online are poor, some websites or newspapers are giving Alain Delon as owner of this medal, but indeed they are perhaps only taking their information from Wikipédia. The certainty is that it was awarded to ALL soldiers who served more than 90 days in Indochina (article 2 : https://www.bo.sga.defense.gouv.fr/texte/11142/_.html). This is the case with Alain Delon. But he was sanctioned by the French Navy, his corps, and was excluded from the army (after an unauthorized use of a Jeep that he damaged). His decoration was PERHAPS then withdrawn from him at this time. But it is not a certainty, it is just a commemorative medal marking the participation in a campaign that he made, not a reward or an honor. And even if it was taken from him, perhaps it was later returned to him? Having become a star, he was officialy awarded as "Légion d'honneur", "médaille de la Fondation de la France Libre", etc. It is very possible that the army also amnestied him and made him recovering his grades. - I am against leaving this award. There are no military awards that are given to all event participants. Each medal, even a commemorative medal, is issued to a specific person according to the relevant documents. I also tried to find sources when translating from French Wiki to Ukrainian. I did not find anything, only non-authoritative sources and comments on social networks. Considering that we have no authoritative sources regarding the awarding of this person with a medal, I think that leaving this information would be a violation of the Wikimedia:Resolution:Biographies of living people. Resolution requires "accurate information" and "verifiability" when we working with biographies of living people. Also, there is no medal in the English and German Wiki. First has the most users, so the information there is often more accurate due to great attention, and the second is known to me personally for its strict adherence to the rules.
