Syriac syc vs syr[edit]

POSIX has 2 codes for Syriac (Q33538)

  • syc - Classical Syriac
  • syr - Syriac

Syriaca.org prefers the syr code since there are "chronological difficulties of defining “classical” Syriac" per Language and Script Identifiers. I only added syr to the item. --Bamyers99 (talk) 23:24, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
