Format[edit]

@Pigsonthewing-bot, Pigsonthewing: Why did you remove the format expression here and here, claiming it to be "invalid"? "SC0[0-9]{5}" actually is a valid PCRE regex, and it specifies the format that the OSCR itself explains to be the only valid on their website, when you try to perform a search that doesn't deliver results: "Note that a Scottish Charity number is SC0 (zero) followed by five digits". --YMS (talk) 12:41, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It was apparently the cause of "constraint violation" errors when I attempted to import values using HarvestTemplates. Turns out this was the error. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:24, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple values[edit]

For this property at Children of Songea, I see a "single value constraint: This property is generally expected to contain only a single value." However this charity has changed its name slightly & gotten a new number, while the w:en:WP:COMMONNAME has stayed the name. Please see:

Is there a way of resolving this of which I am unaware? Peaceray (talk) 17:57, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Peaceray: You can add qualifiers start time (P580), end time (P582) (or, if that information is not discernible, applies to name of subject (P5168)) to the claims. I have adjusted the single value constraint to allow for these qualifiers. Mahir256 (talk) 21:26, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mahir256: Thank you! I had already added start time (P580) & end time (P582) to the item for the Scottish Charity number (P3163) instances, so we are good to go. Peaceray (talk) 21:55, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
