Widening scope?[edit]

I just started using this, and I realized that this could be useful for more items than just properties. Is there a good reason for not widening the scope of this property to also allow for adding it to items like databases, websites, etc, that have a way for reporting errors? Ainali (talk) 07:28, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I would definitely like to use this on items for databases and websites as well, such as Punjabi-English Dictionary (Q112690336). I will add Wikibase item to the permissible entities list; if anyone has more comments we can revert or discuss this but I cannot think of a reason why this would be a problem. (For items, I set the constraint to be only on items which are instances of a class online database (Q7094076) but feel free to expand if necessary.) I have no specific objection in widening the scope to items, it seems it can have only advantages. --Epìdosis 20:32, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
