Gender identity
[edit]The current question doesn't allow to know if a trans person is a man or a woman "transgender" isn't exclusive of gender identity:
the categories may be:
- man/woman/non-binary/other
or
- cis man/cis woman/trans man/trans woman/ non-binary /(evtl. trans non-binary) / other Benoitdd (talk) 13:32, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Benoitdd, thank you for your feedback! The current version of the question about gender identity allows selection of multiple options. So it is possible to choose, for example, "woman" / "man" without specifying gender modality, or add "transgender" + "woman" / "transgender" + "man" if someone prefers to specify. It is also possible to use "Prefer to self-describe" option alone, or combine it with any of the options from the list. We'll review the question in our next projects and consider adding more response options. Daria Ammalainen (WMDE) (talk) 08:33, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
