Room angels

Social events

The conference will take place in a large venue, with 5 different rooms where sessions will happen. In order to make sure that everything runs smoothly, that both speakers and attendees are happy, we need people to be in the rooms, checking for the time, the material, and other small details.

  • have an overview of your track and what's happening during it
  • keep an eye on the time to make sure that sessions start and end on time
  • support speakers when setting up (with projector, computer, etc)
  • support the documentation/video team if needed
  • in general, make sure that the sessions are running smoothly

The room angels will be needed during the full conference (Saturday and Sunday). The program being long and intense, it has been split in different tracks. In order to support each other, two volunteers are needed per track.

The room angels will be helped by the program coordinator, who's the volunteer in charge of coordinating the needs of the speakers and making sure that the full program goes smoothly. The program coordinator for this event is Spinster :)

If you're interested in being a room angel, feel free to subscribe on the schedule below! If you're a speaker, you should not be room angel during the same track.
