OpenRefine is a tool to clean up and enrich datasets (see [1]). It comes with a Wikidata reconciliation feature, and a way to use Wikidata relationships to add additional fields to a dataset. This demo will show how to get started with OpenRefine and some of the really cool things you can do with it.

What will attendees take away from this session?
  1. How to get started with OpenRefine
  2. Basic filtering and transformations
  3. How to link fields with Wikidata items via the "reconcile" feature
  4. How to add fields through fetching values from Wikidata statements
