Page collecting material from Wikidata workshops organized by LaCogency (Q93446253) for CAPACOA (Q85541788) and the Quebec council of theater (Q64402570).

Season 2[edit]

Workshops are held online from 3:30 to 5:00 pm ET once a month in the fall of 2021 and winter of 2022. Workshops alternate between English and French.

The workshops will have the following format: 45 minutes of presentation followed by 45 minutes of practical work.

English workshop dates:

  • November 3, 2021: Wikidata: the basics (dashboard)
  • January 5, 2022: Wikidata: Interwikis (dashboard)
  • March 2, 2022: Wikidata: Wiki Commons (dashboard)
  • May 4, 2022: Wikidata: Production items (dashboard)

In order to respect the 15 minutes of feedback at the end of the workshop:

  • 3:30-4:10 pm - welcome and demo /40 min (limit questions)
  • 4:10 to 4:40 - break out rooms /30 min
  • 4:40 - 4:45 - wrap up questions as a group (not all questions will be answered)
  • 16:45 to 17:00 - feedback period

Participant must have a wikidata register user before the workshop. If you don't have an account, please follow these instructions to create an account on Wikipedia (do not use a company or enterprise name for your user name, use your own name or, preferably, an alias). The interface of Wikidata is the same and you should be able to follow the steps.
