Subproperty ofstation code (P296)

Motivation[edit]

This is a strict superset of Gares & Connexions ID (P3104) with a very similar format, it however is limited to stations in France operated by Gares & Connexions, while the SNCF station identifiers also exist for stations outside of France.

A list for France can be found here: https://ressources.data.sncf.com/explore/dataset/referentiel-gares-voyageurs/table/?sort=gare alias libelle noncontraint (without the country prefix), a international list can be found here: https://github.com/trainline-eu/stations/blob/master/stations.csv (sncf id column).

These identifiers are also used inside (some) SNCF ticket barcodes, which is what I need them for specifically.

Discussion[edit]

Does it imply to deprecate Gares & Connexions ID (P3104) ? GAllegre (talk) 14:26, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
