Motivación[edit]
The Springs and Fountains of Andalucía (Q107185570) research initiative keeps an inventory of all sources and springs of the Andalusia (Q5783) region (Spain). This is an citizen science project created by the University of Granada (Q1232180) and the regional government (Government of Andalusia (Q2743342)) with the goal of documenting sources and springs for any heritage and protection future activities.
The interest for Wikidata consist in adding the catalog itself for better geographic coverage of Andalusia and linking to enrich other elements like instances of fountain (Q483453), aquifer (Q208791) or protected area (Q473972) and to identify the source of watercourses. The added elements will have all the information of interest as coordinates, image, municipality, province and a link to the main URL record.
