Motivation[edit]
The International Jewish Cemetery Project (Q22969528) holds information relating to locations around the world holding Jewish cemeteries. While the main focus is cemeteries, the database also contains useful information about the Jewish populations of cities, and I have found it useful when working with Wikipedia. The page for Baghdad, for instance, contains much valuable ad detailed information about the Jewish population and the city's cemetery. This is also useful when researching the histories of Eastern European cities, many of which were once shtetls or held substantial Jewish communities. Dunutubble (talk) 16:31, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
Discussion[edit]
- Comment This might be useful, but I think your "domain" statement is wrong - the subject items for this property would be geographic locations, not the actual cemeteries, right? ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:30, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- @ArthurPSmith-Yes, that's correct. Thanks for the alert Dunutubble (talk) 13:44, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
