International Alphabet of Sanskrit Transliteration (Q194486) is a transliteration standard widely used by scholars intended for romanization of languages using Devanagari script like Sanskrit, Pali or Hindi languages. The transliteration system, formalized in 1894, is known for lossless romanization of Devanagari scripts. Sanskrit lexemes in Wikidata, while linking with Digital Corpus of Sanskrit (Q3027797) (see property proposal) will be enriched also with this property. -- Bodhisattwa (talk) 05:52, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
