Formatter URLhttp://db.theclergydatabase.org.uk/jsp/persons/DisplayCcePerson.jsp?PersonID=$1
Robot and gadget jobsA template en:Template:CCEd is in use on enWP. CCEd people is a potential mix'n'match catalog, though there are a couple of caveats normal for large datasets, in that there are certainly duplications and sparse entries. Oxford and Cambridge graduates, important subsets, could in principle be extracted via the "Education Events" field.
Motivation

The Clergy of the Church of England database (Q5131829) (CCEd) site was founded in 1999, and is funded by the United Kingdom's Arts and Humanities Research Council. The number of persons can be read off http://db.theclergydatabase.org.uk/jsp/persons/index.jsp: for example over 9K beginning with M. It covers Church of England clerics in the period 1540–1835; the standard reference work Crockford's Clerical Directory (Q5187367) began publication in 1858, making coverage of the earlier period a significant scholarly task. The FAQ has more, and in particular mentions the overlap with the Cambridge Alumni Database ID (P1599) dataset; just as important is that the corresponding Oxford alumnus dataset does not yet have stable identifiers, and that these identifiers are partial surrogates.
