Motivation[edit]
For cases when an actual printed book or a magazine issue, with an ISBN, gets its hub on Wikidata, although (inlike in cases with Credit and Work) i don't think this is much needed and rather expect to see a hub for a written work included in the book. But i may be wrong. Maybe everyone will want to connect all issued books IDs to a novel, as i see actual ISBNs present in the Wikidata database right now and they relate to literary works (that may each be reissued with many different ISBNs). So i even failed to come up with a good example (also because the Bookogs database is far from being complete right now), like the example #3 says on Wikidata: ‘instance of book (Q571)’ but shouldn't it rather be changed to ‘instance of novel (Q8261)’? Maybe someone will know better what to do here, please discuss. — 188.123.231.0 15:18, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

Neutral @188.123.231.0: While I support this in principle the proposal needs fixing. The domain is wrong and should be version, edition or translation (Q3331189). The examples are also wrong - or at least not consistent, some cases you use it on edition, some on work, and the first example is linking a liste of books to a specific edition of a book. - Thanks, and indeed, that's because i'm not sure whether each physical edition of a book will have its own item in Wikidata or not (i'd rather think not), and i don't know how to find such books here it they are already present.
