Motivation[edit]

Washington Rare Plant Field Guide ID (PDF version) (P9460) was created in April 2021. In September 2021, the Online Field Guide to the Rare Plants of Washington (Q106146327) website was revised. According to the site: "The initial online version consisted of links to individual species treatments in the form of PDFs, which were a challenge to update. Our newest version is based on a platform, created by the Montana Natural Heritage Program, which is easily edited and allows us to present up-to-date information." The PDFs are still available online, so the existing property Washington Rare Plant Field Guide ID (PDF version) (P9460) is still valid and the links to the PDFs continue to work. However, the new web version uses different URLs and the information for each species is now presented as a web page. UWashPrincipalCataloger (talk) 02:08, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
