•  Support The page at https://www.dictionaryapi.com/products/api-collegiate-dictionary reveals the dictionary has approximately 225 000 words and also has an API that can be queried. Edit: Instead of the word 'entry' would it not be better to use the word 'word'? Infrastruktur (talk) 16:09, 4 October 2022 (UTC)

  Thanks! Re the number of words, I am just not sure if the "Collegiate" edition is the one exposed to the public, as distinct from a premium (paid) service. But I don't think precision here, in the property request is important. Re using 'word' in the property name, I don't think that would be better, because some of the entries in the dictionary are for short phrases, such as this one.
