Merging

Hi Uwe, and welcome to Wikidata. Hi merged and deleted Q1737836 as by your request on WD:RfD. Please see Help:Merge on how to do the first part yourself (merging usually technically is no big deal, so the admin may do it without moaning, but still it's better to have your name in the version history instead of mine, who I may not be able to fully judge the topic, like in this case where you are the physician, and I have to do a little guesswork "That could fit together", though it was not that tricky). Okay, your view. The short version of that help page is "Activate the merge gadget from the preferences and next time you want to merge two items, just use it on one of them (in the Vector skin, it's in the triangle menu)". --YMS (talk) 07:31, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

WikiProjekt Medizin

Hallo Uwe! Ich hab gerade gesehen, dass du auf Wikidata jetzt auch aktiv bist. Würde mich freuen wenn du bei Wikidata:WikiProject Medicine mitmachen würdest. Unter Wikidata:WikiProject_Medicine/Properties findest du alle Eigenschaften (Properties), die wir schon erstellt haben. Es gibt sicher noch Eigenschaften die fehlen. Ich verstehe das ganze System nicht und mir fehlt auch die Zeit, mich einzuarbeiten. Mich nerven nur die zahlreichen Doppelobjekte, die zustande kamen, wenn kein Interwiki vorhanden war. Jedes Mal LA stellen, das merge-Tool scheint irgendwie nicht zu gehen, ich bekomme jedenfalls keine Rückmeldung. Beschreibungen und Synonyme werde ich auch zukünftig einbauen. Früher hat man einfach einen Interwiki in der en:WP gesetzt und alles lief von selbst. Wikidata ist einfach ein Zumutung. --Uwe Gille (talk) 10:50, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Das stimmt schon, dass die Interwikilinks noch Probleme machen. In so einem Fall kannst du dich aber immer bei mir melden (Das Ziel des Projekts ist es ja auch die Medizinautoren zu entlasten). - Wenn das Merge-Tool nicht geht, kann man es auch noch mit einem zweiten Browser probieren (Help:Merge/de). --Tobias1984 (talk) 11:08, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Eigenschaft mit fehlender Beschreibung

Vielleicht kannst du mir erklären, welchen Sinn Objekte wie response to prostaglandin E (Q14599770) haben. Ich hatte da einen LA (auch auf vergleichbare Objekte) gestellt, der aber nicht ausgeführt wurde. Antwort auf einen Prostaglandin E-Stimulus das ist kein sinnvolles Lemma in einer Enzyklopädie, nicht unmsonst gibts keinen einzigen Eintrag auf dieser Seite. Wie ist solcher Mist entstanden und wozu? Ich finde es schon fast unverschämt, dass ein Bot sowas auf der Seite Wikipedia:Redaktion Medizin/Überarbeitungen/Veterinärmedizin ablädt. --Uwe Gille (talk) 07:56, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Das sollte man vielleicht einmal mit de:Benutzer:MerlBot absprechen. Keine Ahnung wie der Bot diese Objekte als, für die Veterinärmedizin, relevant klassifiziert. - Von Wikipedia kommend machen solche Objekte natürlich keinen Sinn. In Wikidata gibt es aber Gründe warum solche Objekte, auch ohne dazugehörigem Wikipedia-Eintrag, erstellt werden. Vor allem geht es um die Einheitlichkeit der Datenstruktur: named after (P138) linkt beispielsweise immer zu einer Person. Wenn jetzt beispielsweise ein Mineral nach jemandem benannt wurde, von dem man nur den Namen kennt, ist es aus Gründen der Einheitlichkeit besser, auch für diese Person ein Objekt zu erstellen. response to prostaglandin E (Q14599770) wurde auch aus diesem Grund erstellt. In der "Links auf diese Seite"-Liste ist auch oxytocin (Q169960). Für dieses Objekt sind die biologischen Prozesse angegeben an denen es beteiligt ist, und darunter fällt auch response to prostaglandin E (Q14599770). Ich selbst muss natürlich auf die Mitglieder des Wikidata:WikiProject Molecular biology vertrauen, dass diese Aussage und damit auch das Objekt benötigt wird. Hoffentlich ist diese Erklärung verständlich. Sonst nehme ich gerne noch einen zweiten Anlauf. --Tobias1984 (talk) 10:38, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
