killed by own invention[edit]

Hi, please stop applying this as though it were a manner or cause of death, because it's neither. - Bossanoven (talk) 10:36, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What would you suggest? T0mpr1c3 (talk) 11:09, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@T0mpr1c3: Well, I think the manner is always accident. As for the cause, that must be addressed on a case-by-case basis. - Bossanoven (talk) 11:40, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Bossanoven: I agree that "killed by own invention" is essentially a subclass of accident. My question is then, if for example "aviation accident" is an acceptable cause of death, why not "killed by own invention"? T0mpr1c3 (talk) 11:54, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have some knowledge in chemistry ?[edit]

Sorry to be so direct but I am currently working to undo several of your item merges as you seem confuse about the difference between stereoisomers. According to the WD policy, each stereoisomer can have a dedicated item different from the one grouping all stereoisomers. This is due to the fact that different identifiers exist for each stereoisomer and group of stereoisomers. Thanks for your understanding. Snipre (talk) 23:05, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

subclass vs instance[edit]

Hi - I and some other wikidata users have reverted some of your recent changes to military unit instance/subclass (P31/P279) relations. Please check Help:Basic membership properties for details on how these are used here. As a very general rule, unless you are describing a very specific concrete entity, usually one that would have a proper noun label in English, the correct relation is almost always subclass, not instance. There are exceptions to this rule, but the changes you made do not appear to be among them. ArthurPSmith (talk) 15:22, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
