Regarding [1]: removing the English label is pointless since it will be re-added by the Name Suggestion Index's Wikidata sync script during its weekly runs. If this behavior is undesirable, you're free to visit https://github.com/osmlab/name-suggestion-index/issues/10112 and express your concerns there.
