- Timetrail is a tool by Nahom Araya it visualizes the movement of Wikidata items over time by mapping their associated events and locations. Enter an Item ID/Name and select a supported property from the dropdown list to fetch a timetrail.

- The Wikimedia Deutschland software development plan has been updated to include activity estimates for the third quarter (Q3).
- The Wikidata development team is proposing a redesign of Special:NewItem with a warning banner and conflict-of-interest checkbox to reduce the increase in promotional editing. We need your feedback on the wording and designs. Head over to Wikidata:Reducing promotional editing and share your thoughts on the talk page by 15 September.
- Due to an increase of non-notable item creation, and their subsequent request for deletion (and undeletion), a new page has been created. Development
- Query Service: We have continued adapting the Constraints system for the migration from Blazegraph to QLever.
- Wikidata integration in the Wikimedia projects:
- We are investigating how to treat watchlist and recent changes entries from Wikidata that are about adding, changing or removing a sitelink. These seem to be category of Wikidata changes not everyone is interested in and a candidate for filtering.
- We looked into how to make the process of adding Wikidata support for a newly created Wikimedia projects less manual for the team and did a proof of concept for automating some of the database operations.
