Merging identical azbwiki pages[edit]

I have started to link pages from the South Azerbaijani Wikipedia not already linked to other pages on other Wikipedias. I have noticed some duplicate pages, though, on the South Azerbaijani Wikipedia, some of which differ only in the specific term for "lower" used:

(I may add more possibly duplicate pages to the above list as I find them.) Would you be able to merge these if it is appropriate to do so? Mahir256 (talk) 23:59, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If your English isn't that great, @Meisam, HakanIST:, as az and tr speakers respectively, who could explain the situation (I don't know any other azb speakers active on Wikidata). Mahir256 (talk) 00:13, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Mahir256: all of these seem to be the duplicates (villages of the en:Ijrud County). The difference is the usage of the Arabic "ي" or the Persian "ی" in their names. The common practice in the azb is to use the Persian alphabet. But the content must be merged. If no one is merging them, I can ask some admins in azb to do it properly. Cheers! -- Meisam (talk) 20:23, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Mahir256: i appreciate your help in this matter, i'll work on it very soon. I have a question for you; is there any way to find these pages?

actually i'm naive in technical issues so if you know someway let me know. sincerely yours M.XIII (talk) 13:48, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help. As long as you are willing to merge these pages, I can identify them myself. I of course don't want to merge them myself since I am not an Azerbaijani speaker and thus would have no idea how to judge two different spellings of the same word, or I may be mistaken in thinking that two pages are about the same thing. This query lists all Wikidata items that only have an azbwiki sitelink, and is the primary list I am using to identify such duplicates. Mahir256 (talk) 13:58, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

South Azerbaijani articles and template[edit]

Hello.

Can you translate and upload en:Template:Universities in Azerbaijan, en:Azerbaijan State University of Economics and en:List of universities in Azerbaijan in South Azerbaijani Wikipedia? The articles and template certainly don't need to be long.

Yours sincerely, Sondrion (talk) 07:54, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
