Wikidata and Sister Projects: an online event
[edit]Hello Dnshitobu, I hope you don’t mind me reaching out. I was recommended by Lydia Pintscher to invite you for potentially hosting a session at an upcoming event, Wikidata and Sister Projects, (an X Days-style online conference) which is focused on showcasing the different ways Wikidata connects and supports the Wikimedia projects. We would like to hold a session to introduce Wikimedians from other projects to the benefits and power of SPARQL-queries and how it can aid them in finding new facts to enhance their articles, find redlinked subjects to work on and find new ways to visualise or explore linked open data.
If you have any interest, session proposals can be found here: Event discussion page
It is scheduled to take place May 29 – June 1, 2025, with approx. 3 hours of session content per day split into 30 minute to 1 hour sessions. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! Thanks, - Danny Benjafield (WMDE) (talk) 06:28, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
