Conflict of Interest statement: I am employed in a student position at McGill University Library (from July 2018 to November 23 2018), and make paid edits to Wikidata during that time.

My task is to add items and metadata about scholarly publications and scholarly researchers to Wikidata. I have not edited any Wikipedia articles on behalf of my employer.
