I use the tools of social science research to help build a better world. I have worked with the Wikimedia Foundation since 2019.
I am trained in mixed-methods data collection and analysis, and have spent the last 8 years conducting research and communicating sociological insights through writing and teaching. Prior to this I worked in public health research in Baltimore, Maryland. I have a PhD in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and an MHS from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
I currently live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with my husband, daughter, dog, and three chickens.
I work with the Learning & Evaluation Team to help inform Community Engagement strategies through program evaluation. I also manage the annual Community Insights Survey.
