I got my start on English Wikipedia, where I enjoy de-orphaning pages and occasionally volunteer as part of the New Page Patrol. My Wikidata passion is filling in items that originated on Japanese Wikipedia and translating their labels and descriptions to English. I also import new biographies from Japanese, Chinese, and Korean Wikipedia every quarter using Petscan.

I'm also a metadata librarian at a large research university. During work hours I improve items that have library-related external identifiers, especially Library of Congress authority ID (P244). Much of my work is affiliated with WP:P244 maintenance and LCCNbot.
