Is the use of soul music (Q131272) on Make You Feel My Love (Q1886329) correct? It was imported from the Hebrew Wikipedia, where the first infobox is for Adele's single.
Does the composition on its own have a genre at all?

I spend a lot of time cleaning up after that guy running the imports from Hebrew wiki, yesterday he imported "producer" onto a whole bunch of compositions :-(
No, genre doesn't belong there. Setting aside that the designation of genres is completely willy-nilly and often contradicting or severely redundant, I always move them from the composition to the recordings (the same song can be recorded by any number of artists in any number of styles/genres) I don't spend any more time on it than that though, since it's so unscientific and random and it hurts me right in my OCD.
....an example that people might be able to relate to is "Silent Night is an instance of Q56572789 (Christmas song), while a recording of Silent Night should have the genre of Q1443316 (Christmas music)".

Thanks Eran! constraints would be ideal, but I seem to remember @Jc86035 mentioning they are simply overridden by auto-imports? I might be wrong about that, not sure.
Anyways, thanks for helping out👍
Moebeus, there are different tools for auto imports, but actually Pasleim's harvesttemplates (not sure about pywikibot harvest templates) does respect constraints
