- Horcrux, in some languages musical tuning (Q858576) is ambiguous between musical tuning (Q42899294) (the process of tuning an instrument) and tuning system (Q19990790) (a system used to tune an instrument, like just intonation (Q752518)). Some articles linking to this item (Q858576) cover both (the English one quite explicitly), so I took it as a representation of the vague notion and created musical tuning (Q42899294) to represent the concept of the process of tuning an instrument. I didn't check for every article if it covers both concepts or just one of them and I didn't want to rip them apart, so maybe there are some articles that should be moved to musical tuning (Q42899294) or tuning system (Q19990790).
- I'm not sure if there is a possibility to express it better. Maybe use Wikipedia article covering multiple topics (Q21484471)? - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 11:17, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Ok, now it is clear to me. I don't think there are changes to do in this item. I'll try to sort sitelinks and identifiers on the correct item (if one exists). --Horcrux (talk) 11:40, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
@Infovarius: I moved the ru/uk labels to Q19990790. Does there exist also in Russian language a generic term that could indicate both musical tuning (Q42899294) and tuning system (Q19990790)? --Horcrux (talk) 14:07, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
- Thank for the move. And there are no ru-article neither for both terms nor even for general musical tuning (Q42899294) (only for piano tuning (Q17305063)). --Infovarius (talk) 17:27, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
