@EncycloPetey: I am sorry, I undertand nothing. Is he author of something? I thought that he is only mentioned in Bible as a character. --Infovarius (talk) 10:45, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
- He is considered to be the author of the book that bears his name. See also the reference I added: The Oxford Companion to the Bible, s.v. "Amos", which supports the claim with scholarship. --EncycloPetey (talk) 14:56, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
- Is there an item about the book? Because I don't see the link here: https://tools.wmflabs.org/reasonator/?&q=213850. --Infovarius (talk) 13:11, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- Yes. Amos (Q174677) is the book credited to him, and thus it is named after him. I do not know why it does not show up in the source you are searching. Is that site using data from Wikidata? I am not familiar with the reasonator. --EncycloPetey (talk) 13:38, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
