Title vs. Person[edit]

This is a title not a person, you can see that by all the references made by National Museum. I'm unclear how to proceed. Emj (talk) 13:37, 24 October 2016 (UTC)

Maybe André has an idea how to proceed? Multichill (talk) 17:55, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
I'm sure he does... but it is also a general question, there is lots of stuff that usually is signed the title that a person holds. Is that distinction something important, in this case it seems like we don't know the name of that master. Emj (talk) 13:55, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
Each National Muesum id represents what they have identified as an distinct pseudo-anonymous person. THey have the same title but different time spans when they were active. They have all got merged together into one entry due to improper matching through mix'n'match. Each entry should be a separate person on Wikidata (albeit also with instance of (P31) notname (Q1747829)). I'm unsure what to do with this item though and/or whether we need a generic item for the title (if it can be called a title). /André Costa (WMSE) (talk) 12:10, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
