Untitled[edit]

This wikidata item is for the Al Aqsa Mound, also known as the Temple Mount, not to be confused with the Mosque standing within the compound. Somdeone neutral please fix this appropriately. Thanks!  – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nahum (talk • contribs) at 1 May 2020 (UTC).

Country[edit]

To avoid an infinite cyber-war, I think it is best to leave this category blank, and eventually mention the territorial dispute with some ad-hoc formula in the infoboxes of Wikipedia.  – The preceding unsigned comment was added by JonySniuk (talk • contribs) at 15 May 2021 (UTC).

It seems to be more conveniant for an administrator to set the statement to a value he likes and protect it. Who cares about reliable sources, anyway…--Shlomo (talk) 07:28, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
the page is fully protected by user:علاء Estopedist1 (talk) 07:11, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's an edit warring, so I restored the last stable version then protected the page, and protection will continue until consensus is reached between the warring parties. Hope you can assume good faith . Also remember, that what you called "reliable sources", it doesn't have to be so, and we should apply "Neutral point of view". If you've time, take a look at "71 Wikipedia articles" in different languages, and you'll find a difference, and all based on "reliable sources" --Alaa :)..! 17:03, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata:Edit warring doesn't say you have to restore „last stable version“ before protecting the page. Especially, if the version you restored can hardly be called „stable“. As you can see in the history, it has been has been challenged many times before. And you can expect it to be challenged again as soon as the protection expires, since it's in defiance not only with the facts on the ground, but even with the „source“ used as a reference. Which is not considered reliable anyway. If you sincerely attempt to calm down the edit war, removing the sensitive and unsourced statement (as User:JonySniuk has suggested) could be much better start.--Shlomo (talk) 20:49, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
