Pretrial notes: PC petitioned by Sir Rory McLean about the illegal pursuit of his relatives. Reference to an earlier commission issued in 6/1662 for their execution. He complained that the Chisholms were trying to get the lands and property belonging to the McLeans by illegal means. By 9/1662 the Chisholms complained that none of the McLeans had appeared before the council to prosecute these complaints and so the Chisholms were discharged. Donald was pursued but appears to have escaped imprisonment. (English)
