Wrong expansion[edit]

Display in Wikidata is constructed as link to http://libris.kb.se/bib/ which is the display of an unconnected bibliographic record. (compare Leonardo da Vinci: -> http://libris.kb.se/bib/207435 which should be http://libris.kb.se/auth/207435 or http://libris.kb.se/resource/auth/207435). For any / most SELIBR ID (P906) values there is a method to identify the associated VIAF id via a link as:

https://viaf.org/viaf/search?query=local.names+all+%22358600%22+and+local.sources+any+%22selibr%22&sortKeys=holdingscount

Primary goal in building up VIAF was to provide resolving functionality. Therefore you don't need to search for identifier usage but may directly access the VIAF record by coding identifiers from any system known to VIAF into an URL of the form http://viaf.org/viaf/sourceID/code|identifier like http://viaf.org/viaf/sourceId/SELIBR|358600. -- 87.165.111.22 13:06, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
