Untitled October 2016[edit]

Argh no. I disagree, the new order makes less sense for what I see: for example on Battle of Klyastitsy (Q840194), end time (P582) is now before start time (P580) and part of (P361) (wtf), which used to be right after instance of (P31) (which was great), is now between these two (again, wtf). Edit: I read the code and I think P361 should be in the "Classification" section, and that there should be a full "Dates" section with all date properties, before the big alphabetical blob. -Ash Crow (talk) 15:05, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

OK, Here's some comments (With sections for readability) As a general first comment, I'm not fond of having groups thought for items (People, etc.) and would prefer that they are by types of properties (image properties, date properties, place properties, etc.). -Ash Crow (talk) 16:08, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Classification[edit]

  • Currently there:
    • creator (P170) → not sure why it is in this section. Not sure where it should go, though.
    • image (P18), logo image (P154), video (P10) ; They are not really classification properties.. Perhaps create a new section for them, along with maps, coat of arms, and other properties that link to image, video or sound files.
    • inception (P571) → move to a "Dates" section.

Let user override statement sort[edit]

When this gadget was originally introduced, I requested sorting on user level with a custom .js file in the user’s namespace. Content rating[edit]

I see Australian Classification (P3156) in the alphabetical list, six others in the work of art section, and weirdly a few in IDs and codes with type "string", but it would be nice to have all instances of Wikidata property representing media content ratings (Q24716199) grouped together. – Máté (talk) 06:34, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Move "vessel class" in classification section[edit]
