Help:Property constraints portal/Scope
|This is the documentation page for a particular constraint type. See Help:Property constraints portal for a general overview of property constraints.|
property scope constraint (Q53869507) specifies how to use the property: for the main value of a statement, in a reference or as qualifier. You can specify single usage, for example for the main value of a statement only. Or multiple usage, for example: for the main value and in reference section.
There are several possible ways to address a violation of this constraint:
- It is possible that.... (Someone please write this part)
- It is possible that....
This constraint has one mandatory parameter:
- property scope (P5314)
- Acceptable values are as main value (Q54828448), as qualifiers (Q54828449) and as references (Q54828450). You can specify one or multiple values.

When the constraint is set to the property, the following template is automatically displayed in the property talk page. The template is created by Module:Constraints using Template:Constraint, invoked from Template:Property documentation. Translations are defined at Module:i18n/constraints.
