Description
Nederlands: Verheerlijking van Cornelis de Witt, met op de achtergrond de tocht naar Chatham (juni 1667). Links een hoorn des overvloeds met symbolen van de welvaart en rijkdom van het land. In de lucht Faam met bazuinen en putti met een lauwerkrans. De Witt is voorgesteld in wapenrusting en met commadostaf als teken van zijn functie als gevolmachtigde van de Staten-Generaal bij de vloot.
