Task/s: Updating Items of the administrative subdivisions of Thailand.
Code: http://code.google.com/p/tambon - Bot itself within a larger project mostly consisting of data
Function details: I have a large collection of data on the administrative subdivisions, including the item link of those which exist here already (right now 2296 items, if creating all missing items down to the lowest level it could be around 80,000 items). Now making WikiBase.Net work, for a first test I succeeded to set descriptions generated from my data [1]. Noting ideas for future tasks on the bot user page.

- If you have coordinate data, please also add coordinate location (P625).
- Don't forget adding source if possible.
- Take a look at this page and a example to add administrative subdivisions data (without P132 yet).
- You should wait Thailand central administrative unit code being created.

- Are we ready for approval here?--Ymblanter (talk) 12:50, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Hi, the bot should not overwrite existing descriptions as they may be added by humans which is always better than automatically generated descriptions. -- Bene* talk 12:57, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- That is of course easy to implement, though I think most of the existing descriptions are those I added when I was collecting all the item ids or created items for Wikipedia article which had no language links yet. And those are probably not fully correct, e.g. the capitalization was done wrong by me at first. Ahoerstemeier (talk) 10:51, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

- Waiting for Bene*.--Ymblanter (talk) 06:53, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Hmmm, that's a bit tricky because I guess you can hardly check whether the description was checked by a human. However I think that there aren't lots of descriptions added by humans and the descriptions created by this bot make sense so I am going to approve this.
