Why did you re-merge "Category:Death in the United States" with "Category:People who died in the United States"? They don't seem to be the same topic. --Yair rand (talk) 20:33, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

• As far as I know, there is no such category on enwiki: en:Category:People who died in the United States. So why don't you just change the label on this WD page, which include, by the way, the Commons category with exactly the same name: c:Category:Death in the United States?   The item is referenced by United States of America (Q30) category for people who died here (P1465), which doesn't match "Death in the United States". As far as I can tell, all the non-English categories are about people who died in the United States. --Yair rand (talk) 22:07, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

  I'm afraid, you complicate the simple things. Categories in different languages are not always identical, but combining the closest of them for easy navigation IMHO is more constructive than accentuation of seeming differences. reusing old items for new content

Hello Sealle, please don't "re-use" old/redirected items like you did with Key (Q242186) today. This causes problems, especially with internal and potentially also external links to an item (if possible, Q…IDs should be stable).

An other example is Chinese cuisine (Q47250) [2], which was "Chinese cuisine", and now is "Lev Leonidov", a Russian photographer. Please have a look at Special:WhatLinksHere/Q47250, and note that now eg. "Fujian cuisine" is a subclass of Lev Leonidov (wrong). Could you fix these links from other items please?
