Re: Pomoc[edit]

Witam.

Wg mnie do konkretnego okrętu najlepiej pasuje work (Q386724), bo to praca twórcza podlegająca prawu autorskiemu. Natomiast w przypadku np. Bot[edit]

Are you running software to work for you? If so, please register as a bot. Thanks, GerardM (talk) 20:58, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello PMG, I was wondering if you could possible stop adding the main type property to items as it is now starting to flood the abuse filter logs. I am only leaving a short note since you are not a bot and thus should have read the warning giving on saving. John F. Lewis (talk) 21:00, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Hi PMG, per GerardM's message I have blocked you for operating like a bot by high speed editing. This is no a block which should be viewed a negative, rather preventative to the community. Feel free to explain why you are editing so fast below and I will be more than willing to unblock. For this, please do not use the {{Unblock}} template. Thanks, John F. Lewis (talk) 21:05, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello
As I wrote on GerardM I am for sure not runnin any indepenedent software. Everything is controlled by hand. I can use my current task (what I was doing before block) as a example . I am adding to pl:Kategoria:Oficerowie piechoty II RP (something like "military officers of infantry of Second Republic of Poland" if my English is correct).
So typically every article from this category should have:
After I open all ~75 articles in seperate tabs I am checking article if is correct. I am also checking male/female to not mix this. Then I go to wikidata using gadget what show link to wikidata, and then Using User:Goldzahn/wikidata useful.js I am filling this specific data to every entry.
I didn`t know that I shouldn`t add "main type property " to entries. I will stop adding this, but can you explain me why we shouln`t add this? Some link to discussion?
Its not first time when somebody think that I am bot. But all edits from my account are made by myself and I am taking responsibility for this. But I am thinking that I am very experienced editor with more than 200k edits outside of wikidata so I really know how to edit fast and effective. As you can check here on pl.wiki I many times edit using floodflag. If this can be helpfull I can edit from this flag on wikidata. On pl.wiki many people know how fast I can edit - so you can ask wikidata admins: User:Karol007 or User:Rzuwig that I don`t use bots. PMG (talk) 21:33, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Explanation is fine. We are not able to give you flooder at the moment, so if you could edit possibly once a minute I'll be more than happy to unblock you now. John F. Lewis (talk) 21:39, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ok - not a problem. So I will focus on Wikidata:Basketball task force to better describe example basketballer.PMG (talk) 21:51, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Well, you edit pretty fast then :) As I am satisfied with the explanation and John has told me he is satisfied too, I have unblocked you. However, I'd prefer if you wait for a bureaucrat to add the flood flag to your account before resuming with your tasks. About main type, an RfC was recently closed with consensus to delete P107 and replace it with a new still-to-be-defined property. This is the RfC: Wikidata:Requests for comment/Primary sorting property. Cheers. — ΛΧΣ21 21:40, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well - I am quite proud of this how I can make every percent of power of Firefox to contribute to Wikimedia :). If I will be under flood flag I want to continue to describe people from Poland on Wikidata. Thank you for info about RfC - I will stop adding this thing. For at least next week I want to edit wikidata with full power - I broke my leg and I don`t have anything intresting except computer in my home so I want to be usefull. PMG (talk) 21:51, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's good to have contributors like you :) I hope you don't feel discouraged for the block. We are still awaiting for a crat to add the flood flag to you, so I'll let you know when it's done. — ΛΧΣ21 22:28, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey. I saw your comment at John's talk and want to clarify some things: You can edit as usual, just a bit slower until we get you the flood flag. I will see if we can get you the flag today (all of our crats have dissapeared as of late). Therefore, you can safely ignore the "1 edit per minute" comment. Cheers. — ΛΧΣ21 17:38, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I undestand situation now. I will wait. PMG (talk) 18:07, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, after consulting a bit more, I think you can resume editing as you normally do. I am sure it must be annoying not being able to edit, so feel free to do it. — ΛΧΣ21 18:19, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What?[edit]

You are literally spamming Wikidata's recent changes feed. Really? ElliottBelardo (talk) 15:16, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand your screenshot. Also, there is no policy against editing quickly. Legoktm (talk) 06:42, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

100 000[edit]

Jeżeli go zgłoszą to usunięcia popsują mi całą zabawę. Leszek Jańczuk (talk) 17:17, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations, Dear Administrator![edit]

English | español | français | Nederlands |

An offering for our new administrator from your comrades... (our gift is better than the one at Commons or Meta)

You have your gun; now here's your badge: {{User admin}}/{{#babel:admin}} and {{Admin topicon}}. Enjoy!

PMG, congratulations! You now have the rights of administrator on Wikidata. Please take a moment to read the Wikidata:Administrators page and watchlist related pages (in particular Wikidata:Project chat, Wikidata:Requests for comment, and Wikidata:Administrators' noticeboard), before launching yourself into page deletions, page protections, account blockings, or modifications of protected pages.

Please feel free to join us on IRC: #wikidata-admin @ irc.freenode.net. If you need access, you can flag someone down at @ irc.freenode.net. You may find Wikidata:Guide to Adminship to be useful reading. You may also want to consider adding yourself to meta:Template:Wikidata/Ambassadors, and to any similar page on your home wiki if one exists. (Check Wikipedia:Wikidata/Wikidatans (Q14964498).)

Please also add/update the languages you speak to your listing at Wikidata:List of administrators. You may also like to add your username to this list if you would not like that items you delete at RfD get marked as deleted automatically. Again, welcome to the admin corps!

Merge-project requiring language skills[edit]

Dear Wikidatan,

Even though Wikidata phase 1 (replacing interlanguage by Wikidata) is officially finished, there are still a lot a duplicate items that should be merged. Projects to list possible duplicates (and therefore possible mergers) have been started by users such as Pasleim with User:Pasleim/projectmerge and Ivan A. Krestinin with User:Ivan A. Krestinin/To merge. Those bot-generated lists do however contain quite some false positives and therefore still need a human eye to decide whether to merge or not.

Since you are an administrator on Wikidata with knowledge of the Polish language, User:Ivan A. Krestinin/To merge/plwiki might benefit from your help. As said, it lists couples of WD items that might possibly be merged. If you are already involved in these projects or not interested, I am sincerely sorry for bothering you.

With kind regards, FakirNL (talk) 00:06, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Pomnik Wikipedii[edit]

Chciałem przesunąć link do niemieckiego hasła (Vier-Elemente-Lehre) do Q188520. Pozdrawiam. Tomasz Raburski (talk) 10:10, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

native label (P1705) is ready. --Tobias1984 (talk) 15:53, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Admin inactivity[edit]

Hi! Unfortunately, since you have not made 5 administrator actions over the last six months, your administrator privileges were removed for inactivity. Thank you for your contributions to Wikidata! --Rschen7754 00:17, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop[edit]

Edits similar to [2] are not correct. Please stop. --Izno (talk) 20:15, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

can you explain me why are you thinking that this edits are incorrect? PMG (talk) 20:16, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You should be able to defend your edits without asking me why you think you should stop. The names of ships do not include the part you are including, which is closer to disambiguation than not. Additionally, you are editing too fast. Please stop that as well, or request a flood flag. --Izno (talk) 20:19, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You just reverted my change in USS Boxer (Q2342422). Are you really telling me that en:USS Boxer (CV-21) didn't have CV-21 in name? Really? And there is no difference between him and en:USS Boxer (LHD-4)? Your edits shoud defend themselfs. You reverted my edits that were fixing incorrect names. I expect to YOU explain why are you putting incorrect names back. PMG (talk) 20:23, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, CV-21 is not part of its name, and it is you who is introducing incorrect names. As I said, please stop. --Izno (talk) 20:25, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

To znowu ja z prośbą o wsparcie. Tym razem chodzi o dwa słowniki historycznego polskiego: ten Wikidata:Property proposal/SPXVI ID i ten Wikidata:Property proposal/SJPXVII ID. Z góry dziękuję, dzięki Twoim głosom język polski ma najlepiej przygotowaną bazę słownikową we właściwościach. :) KaMan (talk) 12:35, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

To znowu ja z prośbą o wsparcie.

Wrong merge[edit]

Sorry to announce you failed a merge in 2016 :/ https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q11723357&diff=367840511&oldid=321786059 Javeline (Q11723357) was about an ancient weapon, not a destroyer, according to the Google knowlegde graph.

Not sure how to resolve this, but it seems the best thing to do could be to move back the destroyer to Q22662041 ? maybe Help:Split an item could help. Or Help:Merge#UnmergingSp. We’re lucky there is no use of this item in statements.lit a author  TomT0m / talk page 14:53, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@TomT0m: I created javeline (Q115694869) and excluded it from destroyer. There is internal link to en.wiki to Javelin, but I will not edit this on fr.wiki, because I have fr-0. PMG (talk) 12:47, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@PMG I also moved the google knowlegde graph Id statement as it seems to refer to the weapon. author  TomT0m / talk page 13:12, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment[edit]

Dear PMG,

I hope you are doing well,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I am working on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender model that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our model based on your previous edits.

Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published in a research venue.

The experiment should take no more than 15 minutes, and it will be held next week.

If you agree to participate in this study, please either contact me at kholoud.alghamdi@kcl.ac.uk or use this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfA1wfdBfCRlcG3WhDyc-V8lzgPNx3fDFCNXkyn4CSwahXZ_A/viewform?usp=sf_link

Then, I will contact you with the link to start the study.

For more information about my project, please read this post: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Kholoudsaa

In case you have further questions or require more information, don't hesitate to contact me through my mentioned email.

Thank you for considering taking part in this research.

Regards Kholoudsaa (talk) 16:57, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Recreation of deleted item[edit]

I have deleted Q124035308 because it appears to be a recreation of deleted items Q123700744 . This means that we have already made a decision that this entity does not satisfy our notability criteria. Please do not recreate deleted items, as they are likely to be deleted again immediately, and your account may be blocked. To appeal this decision, see Wikidata:Guide to requests for undeletion. Fralambert (talk) 18:53, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry - that was a mistake from my side, I fully agree that it should be deleted. Too fast fingers, and then I didnt know how to delete it. PMG (talk) 20:01, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
