DescriptionPort Elizabeth Cape Recife Lighthouse after dark 2.JPG
English: This masonry tower at Cape Recife replaced the original lighthouse on the Donkin in 1851. It was built under the supervision of G W Pilkington. This lighthouse should be declared a national monument due to its historic role in saving lives on this treacherous part of the coast, as well as the vital role it still fulfills.
