Placa metálica en hebreo que hay en el suelo del empedrado del Campo Grande de Valladolid (España). El texto dice: קהל ואלדוליד (qahal Waladwlid), o sea "la comunidad de Valladolid". Una ortografía más común del nombre de la ciudad en hebreo es ולאדוליד.
Lourdes Cardenal, leyendo la trilogía "Valladolid, recuerdos y grandezas" (1902) de Casimiro G. García-Valladolid (abogado, cronista y miembro de la Real Academia de la Historia) ha descubierto que «los judíos de Valladolid tuvieron su osario o cementerio en el Campo de la Verdad, fuera de la Puerta del Campo». Ese Campo de la Verdad es el espacio contiguo a lo que hoy es el gran parque o jardín llamado Campo Grande, donde están las placas de la fotografía.

Metallic sign in Hebrew on the cobbled pavement of el Campo Grande de Valladolid (Spain). The text goes קהל ואלדוליד (qahal Waladwlid), i.e. "the community of Valladolid". A more common spelling for the name of the city in Hebrew is ולאדוליד.
Lourdes Cardenal, while reading the trilogy "Valladolid, recuerdos y grandezas" (Valladolid, Memories and Greatnesses, 1902) by Casimiro G. García-Valladolid (lawyer, chronicler and member of the Real Academia de la Historia) discovered that «Jewish people in Valladolid had their ossuary or cemetery in el Campo de la Verdad (lit. the Park of Truth), outside the Puerta del Campo (Door of the Park)». The Campo de la Verdad is the space next to what today is the big park called Campo Grande, where these signs are located.
